Just a quickie. John. S. Gruber (I assume the S stands for *superstar*), has just kicked out a new [Lernid](https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Lernid) release, version `0.8.1`. John is powering his way through the bug list and getting Lernid ship-shape ready for the [six months of awesome](https://archivedblog.jonobacon.com/2011/06/01/six-months-of-rocking-ubuntu-events/) coming up in the Ubuntu world.

This screenshot doesn’t always drink beer, but when it does, it prefers Dos Equis.
Please go and download the new release from the PPA. It is available for *Maverick*, *Natty*, and *Oneiric*.
To install, just do this:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:lernid-devs/lernid-releases
Then do this:
sudo apt-get update
And then do this:
sudo apt-get install lernid
Later this week we are going to schedule an event to showcase the features in Lernid and ensure everything is working tip-top. You can file Lernid bugs [right here](https://bugs.launchpad.net/lernid/+filebug).
